If you are already certified and are considering changing notified bodies, we offer a smooth transfer. It can happen at any time during the certification period. We need access to your existing certificate and the reports from your current notified body, back to your last renewal audit. We, as a new notified body, need to ensure that your certificate is valid and that there are no open unhandled non-conformaties, we do this through a document transfer. Fast and simple.
Our accreditation
C1 Certification chose to obtain an accreditation because the accreditation process is a comprehensive assessment of competence according to European and international standards and a way to demonstrate our quality. C1 Certification is accredited to ISO 17021 (management system for notified bodies) and means that we are authorised to perform accredited certification audits against management systems and issue certificates.
Our accreditation body
C1 Certification chose the Swedish accreditation body Swedac, which has been appointed by the government to act as an accreditation body and approve certification bodies that fulfills the requirements for accreditation in Sweden. Swedac has regular on-site inspections at C1 Certification in order to ensure that we follow the guidelines and procedures that are established by ISO 17021. These inspections ensure and provide comfort, since you always get an independent third party service delivered. In addition, it is accompanied with the possibility of worldwide usage of the certificate.
Certification process
Our certification process provides a clear overview of the entire procedure. Here, you will find information regarding the requirements before and during certification, the proper handling of certification marks and logos, and the process for certificate withdrawal, if the requirements are no longer met. You will also gain knowledge about valid certificates and how to access them.
